Foss leads Bulldogs to win

Senior forward Bryan Foss had 27 points and 11 rebounds as Minnesota Duluth beat Concordia-St. Paul 72-55 in a nonconference men's basketball game Friday in St. Paul.

UMD (9-5) outrebounded Concordia 40-28 and held the Golden Bears to 37 percent shooting.

"This team can be good if they learn how to rebound and defend, and they showed the toughness that I have been looking for the whole [nonconference] schedule," said UMD coach Gary Holquist.

Senior guard Jordan Nuness had 17 points and freshman Steve Duncan had 13 points for UMD.
