Floyd and Ardis Weiler of Island Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. A celebration hosted by their children and grandchildren is being planned for July.
Floyd and the former Ardis Downs were married April 26, 1958, in Salem Lutheran Church in Hermantown.
Their children are Wendy Weiler of Minneapolis; Wanda and Jim Hansen of Duluth; and Wynette Weiler of Hermantown. They have three grandchildren.
Floyd is a retired sheet metal worker for Local 10 in Duluth. Ardis is a homemaker.
