A Chevrolet and Ford truck, both towing trailers, were each traveling north on U.S. Highway 53 in Duluth when the Ford rear-ended the other early Wednesday afternoon.
The Chevrolet truck was slowing for congested traffic before entering a construction zone when the Ford truck, while picking up speed, rear-ended the Chevrolet, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Eric William Hall, a 21-year-old Floodwood man driving the Chevrolet, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in Duluth.
The other driver, William James Murray, 67, from Isanti, was uninjured, the incident report stated.
