The National Weather Service in Duluth reports that total rainfall of 2 to 5 inches is possible across the region, with rainfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour possible.

There also is a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms during the overnight hours, with large hail and damaging winds the main threats.
