FIRST suspends robotics season

FIRST has suspended its robotics seasons worldwide, effective as soon as the announcement was made Thursday.

As a result of the suspensions, FIRST championship events have been canceled, said FIRST President Larry Cohen in a statement on the organization's website.

Championship registration fees will be refunded.
