No one hurt in Superior house fire

Nobody was injured during a fire to a two-story home on Tower Avenue in Superior Thursday night.

The two residents evacuated safely as firefighters arrived to 1907 Tower Ave., making “a quick attack on the main body of fire which was in a bedroom on the second floor,” a Superior Fire Department news release said.

A cat was found alive on the second floor and damage is estimated at $30,000.

Three engines arrived at the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m., and firefighters remained until past 11 p.m. The Superior Police Department and Gold Cross Ambulance also responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Superior fire and police departments, said the news release.
