A fire destroyed a garage at a Mountain Iron residence on Monday night.
St. Louis County Sheriff's Office personnel and Mountain Iron firefighters were called to a fire in the 5400 block of Daffodil Avenue at 8:40 p.m., according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
The garage was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived and was a total loss, according to the sheriff's office. No one was injured and no other structures were damaged.
The fire is being investigated by the sheriff's office and the State Fire Marshal's Office.
