Fire destroyed a Morcom Township residence Tuesday night.
According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the fire along Highway 22, approximately 15 miles southwest of Cook, was reported around 10:14 p.m.
The building, which was unoccupied, was engulfed in flames when the Bearville Fire Department arrived. The building was a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the sheriff's office.
