A 2½-car garage was destroyed in a fire Sunday morning. The Duluth Fire Department was called to the detached garage in the 1800 block of London Road at 10:03 a.m.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, the structure already was "heavily involved," according to an incident report. Crews knocked down the flames, but the garage and most of its contents are considered a total loss. A motorcycle and a boat motor were among the items destroyed.
The property damage from the fire was estimated to be about $25,000.
The Duluth Fire Marshal's office is investigating the blaze.
No one was injured, and firefighters cleared the scene at 12:08 p.m.
