A morning fire destroyed one house and damaged two others in Duluth Wednesday.
Firefighters were dispatched to the fire at 615 E. 10th St. at 5:36 a.m. Arriving on the scene, they found flames coming from every window of the house and threatening buildings on either side.
The blaze destroyed the house, which had apparently been unoccupied for years. It also caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to each of the two neighboring houses. One of the damaged properties is under renovation, the other is rental property. According to the fire department, neither was occupied at the time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
