A fire on Friday night significantly damaged an International Falls motel.
The fire at the Tee Pee Motel, 1501 Second Ave. W., was reported at about 7:15 p.m., an International Falls Fire Department spokesman said. Fire and ambulance units responded, but no one was injured. Several guests were relocated to other locations, he said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said, and the state fire marshal was expected today.
According to a post placed Aug. 13 on the motel’s Facebook page, it was up for sale. The owner listed a price of $150,000. The owner could not be reached for comment Saturday.
Firefighters remained on the scene for about five hours, the fire department spokesman said.
