No injures were reported in a garage fire in Superior on Tuesday night.

The Superior Fire Department responded to a fire at 1914 Oakes Ave., at 7:13 p.m. The home's occupant noticed smoke and flames coming from a garage door and window, authorities said.

Firefighters arrived on the scene to find the garage fully engulfed, and crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire, the fire department reported. However, there was extensive damage to the structure and its contents, with damage estimated at $20,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
