Great Date / '70s bands

Boston and Styx, two iconically huge bands of the '70s, are touring together this summer. Some of their old members are gone -- lead singer for Boston, Brad Delp, committed suicide last year -- but the groups still play their anthems. You'll probably hear Boston's "More than a Feeling" and Styx's "Come Sail Away." Revisit an era at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Grand Casino Hinckley, 777 Lady Luck Drive. Tickets are $30 and $38 general admission, $44 for VIP seating. Go to www.grandcasino.com .

Movies in the Park, the surprise hit of last summer, are starting, summer or not. The first one, "Shrek III," screens at dusk Friday in Leif Erikson Park. Call 392-3480, or go to http://twinportsoutdoormovies.com.
