The 20th annual Fall Fest will be held at Chester Bowl, 1801 E. Skyline Parkway, on Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fresh apple cider, caramel apples, pony rides, face painting and music are just a few of the popular features of this annual event sponsored by the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department.

The event will feature a farmers market, more than 80 arts and craft specialists and live entertainment throughout the day. The Chester Bowl Improvement Club is asking for $1 donations to go towards the Chester Bowl recreation programs. Joe Czerniak will perform polka music from 10 a.m. to noon. From noon to 2 p.m. Timothy and Diane Soden-Groves will perform, and Doug Greenwood will perform from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

General parking will be permitted along Skyline Parkway. Festivalgoers are strongly encouraged to park in the UMD College Street parking lots and ride the free DTA shuttle to and from the festival. Handicap parking is available on the park grounds.

In the event of rain, all Fall Fest activities will be held Sunday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
