GREEN BAY -- The ABC show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is coming back to Wisconsin.

The show plans to select one of five northeastern Wisconsin families to receive a new home. The recipients will be notified with a visit on Aug. 14 by the cast, including host Ty Pennington. Work gets under way the next day.

Last year, the show selected the Huber family of rural Superior to receive a new home.

Lexington Homes is the lead contractor this time around. President Jeff Marlow said the pro bono build is expected to take 105 hours, but he hopes to finish it sooner.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that a pep rally scheduled Thursday at the Lambeau Field Atrium will feature entertainment and provide information to interested volunteers.
