The Soo Locks Visitors Center Association is sponsoring a raffle for a round-trip voyage aboard a Great Lakes ship in the summer of 2020. The four-person trip will take place aboard a vessel belonging to Interlake Steamship Co., based outside Cleveland. Departure port and dates will be coordinated with the winner.
The drawing is slated for 11 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Soo Locks Visitors Center in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. Second prize is an overnight stay at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum Crews Quarters in Paradise, Mich., and third prize is a two-night stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
Visit saultstemarie.com to download the raffle form. The winner will be responsible for transportation to and from the eventual departure port. Contestants must have a valid U.S. passport and be physically able to negotiate stairways and ladders.
