Lake Superior College is expecting at least a 5 percent increase in students this fall.
About 1,200 of the expected 4,750 students will be new students. The full-time equivalent of those students is expected to be more than 3,150, according to college officials.
Official enrollment numbers won't be announced until the 30th day of the term.
The anticipated numbers are an improvement over last year's record fall enrollment of 4,550.
