Enbridge Energy Partners LP reported a fourth-quarter 2006 net income of $59.7 million, a 20 percent increase over the same period in 2005.
For the 2006 calendar year, Enbridge reported a net income of $293.4 million, 228 percent increase over 2005.
"The partnership had significantly improved results throughout 2006, and adjusted net income of $229 million was at the top end of the range we previously indicated for annual earnings," Partnership President Terrance L. McGill said in a news release. "The year finished on a strong note in terms of system utilization and this bodes well for 2007 and beyond."
