Wisconsin Public Radio, KUWS-FM 91.3 in Superior, is sponsoring two live radio debates today beginning at6 p.m.
Republican Shirl LaBarre and incumbent Democrat Gary Sherman are facing off in the 74th Assembly District and will debate at 6 p.m. Incumbent Democratic state Sen. Bob Jauch and Republican opponent Shirley Riedmann will debate at 7 p.m.
Reporters will ask questions and there will be no time limits for responses. University of Wisconsin-Superior communications professor emeritus Albert Katz will moderate.
The debates, as well as a debate between congressional candidates Nick Reid and Dave Obey, will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. Monday.
