The League of Women Voters Duluth will host its seventh annual EqualiTEA on March 14, celebrating the ratification of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote.

The League of Women Voters Duluth will host its seventh annual EqualiTEA on March 14, celebrating the ratification of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote.
This year’s theme will be “Women in Politics.” There will be two seatings for the event at the Duluth Woman’s Club, 2400 E. Superior St.:
* 10-11:30 a.m., with Duluth City Councilor Emily Larson and Duluth School Board member Rosie Loeffler-Kemp as speakers.
* 1-2:30 p.m. with Duluth City Councilor Sharla Gardner and state Rep. Jennifer Schultz as speakers.
There will be tea served, games and door prizes. Tickets are $25; money raised goes toward the group’s voter-education efforts. For more information, call Sally Munger at (218) 728-0711 or go to lwvduluth.org.
