Ever wonder how Harry Potter manages to stay on his broom, or how magicians make things disappear?
Well, kids in grades 1-6 are invited to explore the science of magic at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the West Duluth Branch Library, 5830 Grand Ave.
The event will explain how magic and science work together to create illusions. Kids will learn some basic tricks used by some of the great magicians, tricks that will astound family and friends, according to event organizers. The program is free and is being led by Northern Expressions Art Collective. It’s one in a series of monthly programs that will run through
December. No registration is necessary. For more information call the West Duluth Branch Library at (218) 730-4280.
