The Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad sightseeing train in western Duluth will begin its 2015 season this weekend.

Starting Saturday, the railroad will offer rides on tracks along the St. Louis River at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through October.

The rides last about an hour and 40 minutes and depart from the ticket office at 7100 Grand Ave., across from the Lake Superior Zoo.

Tickets are $13.50 for adults and $8 for children; kids age 3 and younger ride for free.
