The Duluth Public Library’s entertainment program for kids, Kaleidoscope, begins July 1 with a pair of performances by storyteller and musician Jack Pearson.
Pearson, who is the winner of multiple Parents’ Choice awards, will thrill the audience with tales and tunes he plays on several instruments, including guitar, fiddle, five-string banjo, mandolin, jaw harp and even an amplified toy box lid.
The shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and are held outdoors on the main library plaza, rain or shine. Each program lasts about 45 minutes. The program series will run through Aug. 5 with sign language interpretation available at the afternoon performances.
The Kaleidoscope program is sponsored by the Duluth Public Library, the Friends of the Duluth Public Library and the Port of Duluth Kiwanis.
All performances are free.
