Cameron Oliphant of Duluth turned 11 years old on Feb. 11 and celebrated his golden birthday by watching the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Golden State Warriors at Target Center in Minneapolis. But his birthday became even more special after the game.
Cameron is “a huge Stephen Curry fan,” said his mom, Laura Truax. Curry is a star player for the Warriors.
After enjoying the game from courtside seats, Cameron was hanging out with his dad when Curry passed them while walking back to the locker room following an interview on the court. Cameron mentioned to Curry that it was his birthday. Curry took off his shoe and signed it for Cameron while wishing him a happy birthday, giving the young basketball fan a “one in a million” birthday present, his mom said.
