IRRRB UPDATES ON YOUTUBE
Not getting enough Tony Sertich in your life? We have a solution.
Officials at the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board want more people to know what Tony and the rest of the board do -- and why -- so they've started a series of monthly outreach videos called "IRRRB Update."
The updates are available on YouTube at youtube.com/user/mnirrrb. The first one, hosted by Sertich, the IRRRB commissioner, spends some 20 minutes talking about the state agency's missions, programs and impacts.
The idea for the program stemmed out of a series of 10 listening sessions that Sertich held in communities across Northeastern Minnesota earlier this year. He wanted to reach out to people who couldn't or didn't attend the meetings.

"It is just another way for us to increase the level of transparency with the public," Sertich said in rolling out the videos.

POTENTIAL SCAM?
An alert reader from Solon Springs contacted Eh? to let us know about phone calls she has received that reek of a scam.
The voice on the other end tells the person that his or her cardmaster account rate is going up and to press 9.
The reader asks if anyone knows how to stop these "annoying" calls. We can tell everyone that the Wisconsin do-not-call list deadline is Aug. 31. Go to nocall.wisconsin.gov or call 1 (866) 966-2255 to sign up. Numbers will be added to the list Oct. 1.
