It’s no secret that books go well with anything … except maybe whitewater rafting.
But books get along just fine with chocolate. In that regard, it’s no surprise that the Duluth Public Library is celebrating National Chocolate Day with a free program at the main library’s Green Room, 520 W. Superior St., at 6 p.m. Monday.
Heidi Ash, from 185Chocolat LLC will be speaking about the history of chocolate, as well as her own personal history with the sticky-sweet substance. Ash is
expected to share the reason she started her company and display some of the tools she uses to make her chocolate creations.
There will be a limited amount of regular and vegan chocolate samples available to try.
According to the chocolatier’s website, there are three locations in Duluth where a chocolate lover can go to get their fill from 185Chocolat.
* Duluth Coffee Co., 105 E. Superior St.
* Gannucci’s Italian Market, 301 N. Central Ave.
* Minnesota Wine Exchange, 3 W. Superior St.
