If you're going to be near the town of Lakeside, Wis. this weekend, stop in to the town hall and enjoy a midsummer Scandinavian dinner and a tour of the Davidson windmill and Eskolin log house.

If you’re going to be near the town of Lakeside, Wis. this weekend, stop in to the town hall and enjoy a midsummer Scandinavian dinner and a tour of the Davidson windmill and Eskolin log house.
Tours of the windmill and log house will be available from 3-5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Old Brule Heritage Society is sponsoring its annual Scandinavian Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lakeside Town Hall, Highway 13 and Poplar River Road.
The menu includes Finnish stew, Swedish rice pudding and Norwegian fruit soup along with homemade breads, bars and beverages. Cost of the meal is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and free for children 5 and younger.
