Steven B. Katz, Pearce Professor of Professional Communication at Clemson (S.C.) University, will present a lecture at noon Monday in the University of Minnesota Duluth library rotunda.
Katz has published books, articles and poetry on science, technology and ethics. He recently launched a series that emphasizes the importance of faculty from different fields of study implementing writing within the classroom. Katz’s research focuses on technological, ethical and scientific ideologies in medical and biotech communication.
A continuous theme of his work is the importance of language and ethics in human communication.
