Maybe you should run one last race of the season.
It’s not too late to get that runner’s high, and possibly bypass the lottery for the 2015 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, by being lucky entering the second annual Park Point Beach Run 5K for Pancreatic Cancer.
The run takes place Sept. 20 along the trails and part of the sandy shore of Lake Superior on Park Point.
Race organizers are encouraging beach attire, but this being Minnesota, that could mean a snowsuit. Either way, there is rumored to be a contest for best- dressed runner.
Preregistration goes until Sept. 19, which allows you to save $10. Race-day registration is $35, with a portion of every entry fee, plus all net proceeds from the run, to benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
