The aquarium is going to the birds.
Well, for an evening, anyway.
Photographer and painter Karl Bardon will present his exhibition, “A celebration of Birds,” at the Great Lakes Aquarium from 5-7 p.m. Saturday.
Bardon has spent most of his life employed as a field ornithologist studying and counting birds on various projects throughout the
country.
The collection of eight paintings, 16 photographs of warblers and five photographs of owls will be showcased in the Merrill Lynch Fine Arts Gallery at the aquarium through Sept. 8. Entry to the art gallery is free for this event.
