Eh? A very looong shot

There are long shots, and then there are loooooong shots.
This is the latter.
In the 1960s, Lyle Conaway, now 84 years old, was swimming on Silver Lake beach, near St. Paul, when he found a bracelet with pilot’s wings and the name Richard Thorn.
Conaway tried to find Thorn years ago, but couldn’t.
