The Duluth Superior Symphony Youth Orchestra will present its third annual “Not So Scary Concert” at 2 p.m. Saturday at Denfeld High School.
The concert will feature Halloween-related music, from classical selections by Bach and Grieg to the soundtracks of “The Wizard of Oz” and “How to Train Your Dragon.” The orchestra is made up of young musicians ages 10-18 from the Duluth-Superior area, officials said in a release. Auditions were held in September, and this is the first of four concerts to be performed this season.
Tickets are available at the door the day of the performance and cost $6 for adults and $3 for students. People attending in costume will get a $1 discount. For additional information, contact Kevin Hoeschen at youthorchestras@dsso.com .
