Forum Communications Co., the owner of the Duluth News Tribune, has launched a new site that offers outdoors news, features, photos, videos and classified advertising from throughout the company.
"We are able to showcase the best outdoors coverage that our company has to offer," said Paul Amundson, manager of Forum's interactive media division.
To reinforce the connection between the new Web site and the local newspaper, our Sunday section has been renamed Northland Outdoors.
Sam Cook, the News Tribune's outdoors writer, will contribute to the site. You also can find content from Brad Dokken of the Grand Forks Herald and other Forum reporters and columnists.

Most of the content will originate from Forum Communications' 35 newspapers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Amundson said the site also will incorporate user-created content through blogs, photos and comments. Classified advertising, such as boat and camper sales and lake property listings, also can be found there.
