Johanna Eckman of Minneapolis and Jeff Gennrich of New York were married July 22 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Mary and Mark Eckman of Duluth. His parents are Jeanie Gennrich of Clermont, Fla., and Peter Gennrich of Scottsdale, Ariz.
The bride chose Heather Olson as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Anderson, Annalisa Eckman and Kristin Sullwold. Ainsley Whigham was flower girl.
The groom chose his brother, Craig Gennrich, as best man. Groomsmen were Charles Eckman, James Eckman and Brent Holten. Cody Whigham was ring bearer.
The bride, a 1997 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in public relations and Spanish. She is a development associate at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of Madison (Wis.) Memorial High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis Carlson School of Management in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in finance and from the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison in 2002 with a juris doctor. He is compliance manager at Bank of America in New York.
