Eastern Duluth road to close for railroad bridge work

A portion of 36th Avenue East in Duluth will be closed for more than two months starting Monday to allow for reconstruction of a North Shore Scenic Railroad bridge.

A portion of 36th Avenue East in Duluth will be closed for more than two months starting Monday to allow for reconstruction of a North Shore Scenic Railroad bridge.
The section of 36th Avenue East between London and Greysolon roads will remain closed until June 12 as work is underway on the bridge that crosses over the street.
While through-traffic will be detoured, all homes on the street will still have access. The Lakewalk will not be affected.
