Wednesday night marked the final regular season match up of the East Greyhounds and the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks at the Lumberdome. The first period left the scoreboards empty although East out-shot CEC. To start off the second period, East's senior Joe Arbor put the puck in the net. Arbor's goal, assisted by juniors Kyle Lutzka and Derek Forbort, was followed by a goal from CEC's Colton Roy.

The Greyhounds pulled ahead with Max Tardy's unassisted goal not long after Roy's. East kept the energy rolling into the third period with a goal from senior Brent Olsen, assisted by Lutzka and sophomore Nolan Meyer. Sophomore Andy Welinski gave the Greyhounds their fourth goal with an assist from senior Joe Nelson. With less than three minutes remaining in the game, CEC cut East's lead in half with a goal from Tony Wilcox. The Greyhounds won the game 4-2, improving their record to 18-3-1.
