A "water contact not recommended" advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on June 24 for Park Point 20th Street/Hoarding Island Canal Beach.
Elevated E. coli bacteria averages identified from samples collected June 23 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled June 24.
Park Point 20th Street/Hoarding Island Canal Beach is located on the harbor-side of Park Point, at 20th Street.

Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach is located on the harbor-side of Park Point, near 40th Street.
