Duluth's warming centers open Tuesday, Wednesday nights

Duluth News Tribune News Brief

With predicted cold temperatures on the way, Duluth's two warming centers will be open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

The temperatures are expected to drop below 10 degrees, causing the warming centers to open, according to a news release from CHUM.

The Gloria Dei warming center can be entered from the "breakfast door" at 219 N. Sixth Ave. E. The Harmony Club entrance is off 25th Avenue West between Fourth and Fifth streets in the old Lincoln Park School. People are asked not to arrive at either center before 8 p.m.

CHUM's drop-in center at 102 W. Second St. is always open as a warming center through the night.
