The Movies in the Park series, in its seventh season, opens with a screening of "Captain America: The First Avenger" at 9 p.m. today at Leif Erikson Park.
The weekly events feature family-friendly movies played on a large screen on the shore of Lake Superior. Films run through Sept. 7.
