"Look at the Aerial Lift Bridge! Visit Enger Tower! There are gulls in Canal Park -- feed them!"

Nice, but predictable.

Those of us who contribute to the Duluth Current blog live here, and we have some insights Fodor's can't touch.

For starters, we have assembled a play-by-play you can actually use -- a roundup of some of the best lunch options in town.

Duluth, we've found, knows how to do lunch. And because man (and woman) can't live by brown-bagging it alone, we've found some places you might want to check out.

Take, for instance, burgers. We found three (count 'em, three) of the veggie variety and one that's a little more haute than your average. We know where classic ham and turkey sandwiches get gourmet makeovers (Northern Waters Smokehaus) and, after thorough testing, have found the best menu items at local favorites like Grandma's and the Brewhouse.

Today, the Duluth Current contributors share their collective wisdom about lunch. What other secrets do we have to share? Check out our blog.

The folks who nominated the sandwiches write for the Duluth Current. It's an online community where a group of News Tribune staffers talks about their interests as well as topics they're passionate about. Want to read about what gets the 20s-to-30s crowd talking?
