Duluth's 10th Avenue East project to detour traffic

Duluth’s Second Street will close at Ninth Avenue East on Monday because of the reconstruction of 10th Avenue East. A detour will be posted at Sixth Avenue East and Second Street.
Second Street will remained closed until about Oct. 30, although two-way traffic will be allowed on Second Street between 10th and 11th avenues east to allow access to hospital services and parking lots.
Work on 10th Avenue East started at Superior Street and will end at East Fifth Street. The reconstruction project is expected to be completed by early November.
