A Duluth woman was injured Sunday when the motorcycle she was a passenger on collided with a car.

Diane Lynn Line, 64, suffered a serious leg injury when she was thrown from the motorcycle.

According to Duluth police, the accident happened at Grand Avenue and Fremont Street at 1:47 p.m. when the driver of the 1987 Honda motorcycle, Dennis Leon Line, 65, of Duluth attempted to make a left turn in front of a 2003 Olds Alero driven by Theresa Lynn Orso, 41, of Duluth.

Dennis Line was treated and released from a local hospital for his injuries. Orso and her two passengers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

Police said impairment does not appear to be a factor, but the crash is still under investigation. Police ask anyone who witnessed this crash or has information on the crash to contact Investigator Ryan Morris at (218) 730-5655.
