A Duluth woman was injured when the vehicle she was driving traveled 150 feet down an embankment after veering off of Interstate 35 on the west side of Duluth.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Jessica L. Lewandowski, 23, was southbound on I-35 near 27th Avenue West at 11:40 p.m. on Sunday when the 1993 Dodge Dakota Club Cab she was driving crossed over the right lane, went onto the shoulder and over the barrier to the right of the roadway before continuing down the embankment.
Lewandowski was taken to St. Luke's hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.
