Duluth to discuss work on 36th Avenue East, Anderson Road

The city of Duluth Engineering Division will hold public input meetings Thursday and Tuesday on two street reconstruction projects scheduled for next summer.

The city of Duluth Engineering Division will hold public input meetings Thursday and Tuesday on two street reconstruction projects scheduled for next summer.

A meeting on the reconstruction of 36th Avenue East between Superior and Fourth streets will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Congdon Park Elementary School library. A short presentation on the project will be followed by discussion in small groups. People unable to attend the meeting may submit comments to project engineer Greg Stoewer at gstoewer@duluthmn.gov or by calling (218) 730-5109.

A meeting on the reconstruction of Anderson Road between Haines Road and Chambersburg Drive will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the Lake Superior College commons. That meeting also includes a short presentation on the project followed by small group discussion. People unable to attend the meeting may submit comments to project engineer Matt Decur at mdecur@duluthmn.gov or by calling (218) 730-5200.
