Two Duluth television news stations have been nominated for Emmy Awards.
KQDS-TV, Channel 21, was nominated for best evening newscast, a special award for the station's first newscast on March 12 and best investigative report for a series by Harry Baker on a car scam.
WDIO-TV, Channel 10, was nominated for the best daytime newscast for its "Good Morning Northland" program and for best general assignment report for a story by Sandy Drag about sex offenders.
Final awards will be announced in October in Minneapolis.
