Duluth snow removal to resume Thursday

The city of Duluth will begin removing snow on street medians and curbs early Thursday morning in the city's medical district and Fourth Street to Sixth Avenue.

The city of Duluth will begin removing snow on street medians and curbs early Thursday morning in the city's medical district and Fourth Street to Sixth Avenue.

Crews will begin removing snow and ice at 2 a.m. and expect to be finished by 7 a.m. to avoid blocking morning traffic. They will repeat the process during the same time frame if more snow needs to be removed.

Streets have been marked with "no parking" signs, and any vehicles in the way of operations will be ticketed and towed.
