According to police, a Duluth man was pulled over at 108th Avenue West and Becks Road with car trouble around 10:45 a.m., when the suspect stopped behind him in a clean, white pickup truck, perhaps with a diesel engine.
The suspect -- described as a 6 foot-tall white man around 40 years old with a heavy build, shaved head, long grey mustache, and a black coat -- approached the victim and asked him for his wallet. The suspect displayed a knife and slashed at the victim, who was outside his truck.
The suspect left without the wallet in the white pickup truck toward Commonwealth Avenue. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
