Duluth police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday night at the ICO gas station at 527 N. Sixth Ave. E.
Police said a man entered the store at 6:38 p.m., brandishing a black semiautomatic handgun; he told the clerk to hand him all the money in the cash register.
The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left the store; he was last seen on foot heading southbound on Sixth Avenue East.
The man is identified as being white, or possibly Native American, about 5 feet tall with a stocky build, wearing a light blue or grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants and wearing blue latex gloves.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911.
