Duluth police responded on Monday night to a fight at The Hills Youth and Family Services.

Police were called just before 9 p.m. because of "multiple clients fighting with staff," Lt. Robin Roeser wrote in an email about 45 minutes later. Police were still at the scene, he wrote.

The Hills, at 4321 Allendale Ave., offers residential and day treatment for youths with behavioral or mental health needs, including many who are court-ordered to be there. It formerly was known as Woodland Hills.

A lawsuit was filed against the facility in November alleging sexual abuse of several boys in its care.
