A convicted burglar wanted on a felony warrant is the Duluth Police Department's Property Crimes Wanted Person of the Week.
Doug Andrew Atkinson, 20, is wanted for violating probation stemming from a first-degree residential burglary in 2010. There was person in the home at the time of the burglary.
According to court records, Atkinson was fined $100 and sentenced to 21 months in state prison with time stayed for three years of probation. The probation conditions included six months of local confinement and $342 in restitution as well as alcohol and drug restrictions and testing. He still owes the court $602, which has gone to a collection agency.
He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.
